Limpopo – The South African Police Service has launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a woman’s body at a farm in Mooiwater in Limpopo.
Police said officers from Modjadjiskloof responded to a complaint on Saturday, 2 May 2026, at approximately 12:33.
Upon arrival, the farm manager directed officers to the scene, where a 40-year-old woman, originally from Zimbabwe, was found lying on a bed with visible injuries to her forehead.
Emergency Medical Services declared her dead at the scene.
Police have urged anyone with information on Mpape’s whereabouts to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Edna Maenetsa, or call the Crime Stop hotline.
Information can also be submitted via the MySAPSApp or at the nearest police station.
