Cape Town – Former Metro FM deejay Bujy Bikwa has reportedly revealed that media personality, Boity Thulo has moved to demand R1 million from him, following a physical altercation between the two.
According to TshisaLive, Bujy said he Boity had sent a letter of demand.
“I need to take accountability for her scars but now, she opened a case, I got arrested … the worst part is that she sent a letter demanding R1m and I’m just like, so you don’t want to resolve this. Where will I get R1m when both of us are at fault?,” the report quoted said Bujy as saying.
Bujy and Boity got into a brawl last week, resulting in the Ba Kae hitmaker sustaining serious injuries.
Boity filed an assault case against Bujy, who was detained and jailed for seven days before being released on a R2 000 bail.
A shocking audio clip of the physical fight between the two surfaced on social media this week.
Both Boity and Bujy confirmed the brawl.
“It is with deep sadness that I was indeed an unfortunate victim of a vicious physical assault and that I have since opened a case against the culprit, which I am following with a keen interest. I do not wish to comment on this matter any futher (at this time),” Boity wrote on her Twitter account.
Bujy, on the other hand, took to his Instagram account and issued issue a statement that has since been deleted, admitting to throwing a glass at Thulo.
He, however, claimed that he meant no harm.
“I have been through the most rough, emotional and difficult time the past few days, regarding allegations against me, of GBV.
“In no way do I condone such behaviour and actions that occurred on the night, however, I feel victimised as I was not given the opportunity to relay my side of the story,” he said.
