Cape Town – Muvhango actress Inno Manchidi and her husband, Mpho Manchidi, have welcomed their second child.
The actress shared the happy news on Instagram, announcing the birth of the couple’s baby boy in a heartfelt post reflecting on motherhood, faith and her growing family.
The couple first revealed they were expecting their second child in April, when they shared photographs from their maternity shoot.
Announcing the arrival of their son, Manchidi expressed gratitude for what she described as God’s faithfulness and the blessing of becoming a mother of two.
“Officially a mom of two beautiful angels and listen I have a beautiful story to tell about this God, ke nale bopaki😊 I’m still basking in this blessing right now but believe me when I say God restores okay?! He restores and makes you whole again😊,” she expressed
She said the births of her two children had been a testament to God’s goodness.

“The year 2023 and 2026 further revealed the goodness and faithfulness of God in our lives in the form of these children. Two smooth pregnancies and healthy babies. What more can we ask for?”
The actress also shared a glimpse into the moments before giving birth, revealing that she felt calm while eagerly waiting to meet her son, while her husband was noticeably more anxious.
“Waiting to be wheeled into the theatre. I was so calm and just excited to meet our boy. And while I was calm, daddy was so nervous. He kept asking, ‘mara o sharp babe? Ga wa tshoga?'”
Manchidi paid tribute to her mother, who was by her side during both of her deliveries, and praised her doctor, saying the experience made her want to have more children.
She described the atmosphere in the delivery room, where hymns played in the background before her son was born.
“Imagine hymns playing in the background while you wait to hear that little cry and then the famous ‘happy birthday, how old are you now’ seconds after baby is born. Oh what an incredible experience.”
Reflecting on her first night with her newborn, Manchidi said she was overwhelmed with emotions as memories of welcoming her daughter came flooding back.
“I couldn’t stay asleep the first night. I kept looking at baby and feeling so nostalgic. It feels like yesterday when I was sleeping in the same hospital with our baby girl… and now we’re here with her brother who looks so much like her.”
Manchidi concluded by noting that, she and her son since they returned home, where they have been surrounded by the love and support of family.
“And finally it was home time. My parents came to pick us up and we’ve been spoilt rotten since. He has done great things, bless His holy name.”
