Cape Town – “Don’t” hitmaker Bryson Tiller is set to return to South Africa for the first time in almost a decade.
The American R&B star will perform in Durban alongside Swae Lee, Masego, Shekhinah, Cassper Nyovest, Elaine, Akio and Asante. The announcement comes after speculation surrounding the event, which was initially linked to DJ Mustard before he dismissed reports of his involvement as fake news.
Tiller has since confirmed that he will be heading to Durban, sharing the news with fans on Instagram and expressing his excitement about returning to South Africa after several years away.

The singer last performed in the country in June 2017 as part of the Castle Lite Unlocks concert. This time, he is scheduled to take to the stage at The Ascots during the Hollywoodbets Durban July at Greyville Racecourse in Durban.
“Back in South Africa after all these years ❤️🔥 @the.ascots see you on July 4th,” he wrote on Instagram.
The announcement was met with excitement from fans, with many taking to the comments section to ask Tiller to add Johannesburg and Cape Town dates to his visit. Others, however, pointed out that Durban rarely hosts major international acts and welcomed the city’s opportunity to shine.
