Durban – Authorities in Riyadh, KwaZulu-Natal are attempting to rescue a cat that has been stranded on an electricity pole since Thursday morning.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa, officers are currently on scene along As-Safa Way where they are working to safely bring the animal down.
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has also been called to assist with the operation.
At the time of reporting, rescue efforts were ongoing, with responders maintaining a standby position as they attempt to secure the cat without causing harm.
