Cape Town – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the hosts for its prestigious 2025 Awards, set to take place on 19 November at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat, Morocco.
Taking centre stage will be the Grammy-winning Beninese singer Angélique Kidjo, whose global influence spans decades, and Moroccan comedian Oualas, known for his sharp humour and charismatic style.
CAF said this “complementary duo underscores … an Awards ceremony that celebrates not only sporting achievement but also the rich cultural talent of Africa.”
Kidjo, who has won five Grammys and has been named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential women, brings more than her musical legacy: she is also a prominent UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and a strong advocate for education and women’s empowerment.
