The party said there were no concerns about Zuma’s health following the examination, adding that he was “healthy and in good spirits”.
“We hereby confirm that he is healthy and in good spirits. His campaign programme will continue accordingly,” the statement said.
The confirmation comes as Zuma continues his political activities as leader of the MK Party, which was formed ahead of the 2024 general elections and has since become a significant political force in South Africa.
The party also clarified its communication arrangements, saying: “All Party communication is handled by the National Spokesperson, Cde Sifiso Mahlangu.”
