Cape Town – Dashcam footage of a horror crash that allegedly killed four women on the N3 eastbound near the Mariannhill toll plaza showed that the truck failed to stop before crashing into a number of vehicles.
According to Road Traffic Inspectorate spokesperson Zinhle Mngomezulu, the cause of the crash was allegedly due to brake failure. reported TimesLIVE.
“The driver tried to push the truck on to the crash barrier but was unable to avoid the vehicle on the road after his brakes had failed,” The report quoted Mngomezulu as saying.
