Durban – Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) says it has handed over information to police after receiving reports of alleged criminal conduct involving two mothers and their minor children in KwaZulu-Natal.
The organisation said it is in possession of “videos, images and messages” which allegedly show exploitative and unlawful activity involving the children.
The matter has been referred to the South African Police Service’s Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit for further investigation.
RUSA said the information was first received in May 2026, when officers were alerted to allegations involving two women living in different towns within the eThekwini Municipality.
“In May 2026 Reaction Officers received information that two (2) mothers living in Ethekweni Municipality Region – Kwazulu Natal have subjected their children to lewd and exploitative acts,” RUSA said.
It is further alleged that the material was shared between the two suspects, and that they were encouraging inappropriate and unlawful conduct involving their children and other individuals.
“One (1) mother is conducting this activity with her seven (7) year old son and the other with a six (6) year old daughter. The women live in different towns and have since exchanged images of the children and appear to be convincing and encouraging other mothers to enjoy similar activity with their biological children.”
“The post has been intentionally delayed and certain details have been withheld due to sensitivity and ongoing investigations,” RUSA said, adding that all available information has been submitted to law enforcement authorities.
The organisation also confirmed that both suspects are South African nationals.
Police have not yet publicly commented on the matter, and investigations are continuing.
