Cape Town – A man escaped without any visible injuries after a loaded bakkie plunged off an embankment onto Main Road in Misty Cliffs, Cape Town.
CCTV footage shows the vehicle dropping from a steep roadside, rolling and scattering its load across the road before coming to a stop.

Despite the violent crash, the driver managed to climb out and walk away, appearing shaken but not seriously hurt.
The incident, which happened on 26 April 2026, has raised shock and discussion online due to how the driver survived what appeared to be a severe impact.
