Cape Town – Fast-food chain McDonald’s has reportedly launched an investigation after a customer allegedly found a dead frog inside a McChicken burger he ordered for his daughter at one of their Secunda, Mpumalanga outlets last Friday.
Willem Bezuidenhout took to Facebook to express his frustrations with the fast-food chain.
According to Times Live, McDonald’s spokesperson Daniel Padiachy said they were in contact with the family and that the matter was being investigated.
“We take this matter seriously and will make sure it is resolved,” said Padiachy, as quoted by the report.
The post made it to Twitter and Tweeps expressed their shock at the incident.

It’s baffling to hear that the Frog was found in a Mc Chicken Burger in Secunda McDonald in Mpumalanga. How possible such a thing can happen in a Food Outlet?

I’ll be very honest with you. This has happened to me a few years ago. I had to even go on a lie detector 🤕
And we thought maybe the customers are playing us.
And if I’m seeing it now on Twitter a few years later, then I’m certain that frog comes from lettuce.🤞🏾
