Cape Town – South African singer and actress Busisiwe “Cici” Thwala is expecting her second child.
The Runaway hitmaker shared the news on Instagram on Monday, September 14, posting pictures from her maternity shoot as she showed off her growing baby bump.
In the photographs, Cici is dressed in a black top and white skirt while cradling her belly.
Sharing the news with her followers, she wrote: “Loved before we met, prayed for before we knew you, and cherished beyond words.”
The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow entertainers.
Actress Siphesihle Ndaba wrote: “Congratulations, beautiful! 🌸”
Rapper, actress and presenter Anele Zondo also congratulated the expectant mother, writing: “Congratulations ❤️ mommy.”

Rapper Cooper Pabi also celebrated the news with a string of heart emojis and wrote: “Congratulations mama.”
Cici, who has largely kept her family life away from the spotlight, welcomed her first child, son Diallo Prince, in 2020.
The singer has also made her mark on television, including a role on e.tv’s Rhythm City, while her music career has produced hits such as Runaway and Ngidinge.
