According to Urban Dictionary the term “Adulting” is a verb that means to do grown-up things and hold responsibilities such as having a 9 to 5 job, paying rent, making car payments, or anything else that makes one think of grown-ups.
The term has started a new #Adulting trend on Twitter, with tweeps sharing their #adulting stories.
Feeling is mutual, my daughter acting up in my own house. Employed but contributes nothing, instead I must deal with her moods especially when she wants to control me in MY house. Stress fela shame. The little ones ba betere stru🤞

It’s the first time in all my 34 years of being a mother that I’ve walked into the house after being gone for hours to find one of my children was hungry enough to cook dinner. It’s Mac & Cheese but, yay. Maturity level unlocked!!!#adulting pic.twitter.com/B1vGyGSxhy

Adult friendships are hard. Life & kids happen, dark days happen. So thankful to the people in my life that I don’t have to text back right away, call often, or see regularly for them to know & feel that I love them just as much as I ever have. #adulting #friendship #lifehappens pic.twitter.com/ptRIltJwGp
