Johannesburg – The South African Police Service (SAPS) has bid farewell to its longest-serving pilot, Lieutenant Colonel “Div” de Villiers, following his retirement after 46 years of service.
In a social media post on Friday, SAPS said it had honoured De Villiers for his decades of distinguished service to the organisation.
“This week, the SAPS rendered a heartfelt farewell to its longest serving pilot, Lieutenant Colonel ‘Div’ de Villiers, who retired with 46 years of distinguished service in the organisation,” the police said.
