Pretoria – US Ambassador Brent Bozell met with leaders of several Afrikaner organisations in Pretoria, including AfriForum, Solidarity, SAAI, NEASA and the Freedom Front Plus, to discuss ways the US could contribute to a “safer and more prosperous” South Africa.
The US Embassy shared details of the meeting on X on Friday morning.

“We discussed how the US government’s focus on the community can contribute to a safer and more prosperous SA.”
AfriForum CEO Kallie Kriel said proposals were presented to help resolve tensions between Pretoria and Washington, while warning that sanctions against South Africa would harm all citizens.

The meeting comes amid strained US-South Africa relations over issues including land reform, affirmative action, rural safety and South Africa’s ties with Iran.
