Cape Town – A 37-year-old man has been arrested after police allegedly discovered more than R3 million worth of dagga loaded inside a Toyota Hilux along the N4 Road in Mpumalanga.
The suspect was arrested at the scene on charges of dealing in dagga and is expected to appear before the Barberton Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 21 May 2026.
Acting Mpumalanga Provincial Commissioner Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi praised officers for their efforts in tackling drug-related crime.
Mkhwanazi commended the members for their “dedication and commitment in combating drug-related crimes and ensuring safer communities through intelligence-led operations and continued cooperation with members of the public.”
