The trio face charges linked to the alleged illegal dealing in precious metals, corruption, and defeating the ends of justice after a police investigation into a suspicious gold interception at OR Tambo International Airport.
The case is connected to the seizure of nearly R250,000 worth of unwrought gold allegedly found in a Gucci sling bag in 2021.
