IOL, reports that the goalkeeper has had a turbulent season with the club, following the penalty shootout controversy in early October’s Carling Knockout match against Stellenbosch FC, where he refused to be substituted.
The club said that they would deal with the matter internally.
“Bruce Bvuma had been ready to take the field ahead of the shootout, but instead he had to put his jacket back on and watch the action from the sidelines.

“Chiefs would go on to lose the shootout, and Ntwari stood out as a clear act of defiance towards his coaching staff,” said IOL.
According to the South African, Chiefs went on losing 4-3 on the penalty shoutout.
Since that incident, Ntwari has yet to feature for Amakhosi. Bvuma has resumed his role as backup to Petersen, while young academy graduate Naphtali Mokoena has been promoted to the senior squad.
What has caught many by surprise, however, is the club’s silence. Kaizer Chiefs have not issued any statement about Ntwari’s injury or surgery, leaving fans to rely on social media posts to piece together the situation.
