Cape Town – Operation Dudula president Zandile Dabula has opened a case against the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in Gauteng.
The EFF alleged the child, whose mother is Malawian, died after being denied access to the clinic for not having a South African ID.
Speaking on an EFF podcast, EFF’s Gauteng Provincial Chairperson, Nkululeko Dunga, linked the charges to police inaction in the tragic case of one-year-old Praise Banda’s death.

However, Dabula accused the EFF of spreading false information and laid charges of intimidation, assault by threats, and criminal defamation under the Cybercrime Act.
She said police confirmed the EFF could not open a murder case against her as there was no proof.

She made the announcement outside of the Alexander Station.
“”That is not true. There is no case of murder opened against myself because they had to be turned away. It can only be the state that can open a case of murder,” she said.
“Now with all that being said, we had to make sure that we deal with the people that defamed us on social media platforms, even on mainstream media.”
President Zandile Dabula has opened a case against EFF and EFF members.
