Pretoria – The Madlanga Commission in Pretoria has heard evidence linking North West businessman Brown Mogotsi to payments allegedly channelled through a Mahikeng company.
Crime Intelligence boss Dumisani Khumalo on Tuesday presented messages between Mogotsi and alleged underworld figure Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala.

The messages show that Matlala paid R37,000 and R38,000 to Gotlhe Specialists, a business linked to the travel industry, in December last year.

Evidence leader advocate Adlia Hassim told the commission that investigators traced some of the money back to Mogotsi.
She said further details of the transactions would be submitted to the commission in due course.
