On the fifth day of the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, proceedings continued to probe the explosive allegations made in July 2025 by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, which have rocked the province’s policing and political landscape.
Over three days, Mkhwanazi testified on matters involving suspended Minister Senzo Mchunu and his alleged associate, Brown Mogotsi, shedding light on alleged high-level misconduct within the KZN police.
The spotlight now turns to National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola, who is continuing his testimony at the commission, currently taking place at the Brigette Mabandla Justice College in Pretoria, as investigators seek further clarity and accountability.
