Cape Town – Leader of the Patriotic Alliance, Gayton McKenzie, says the investigation into his deputy, Kenny Kunene, is nearly complete, almost two months after Kunene’s suspension.
Kunene was suspended for being at the home of Katiso ‘KT’ Molefe, alleged mastermind of DJ Sumbody’s murder, at the time of Molefe’s arrest.
He claimed he was there to arrange a potential exclusive story for his media outlet, Africa Global News.
McKenzie said that due process is being followed and investigators have interviewed all relevant parties; the final outcome is expected soon.
“That investigation is nearly done. I’m sure we are going to get an answer this week regarding the DP. The investigators have interviewed the DP and everyone else, so we’re just waiting for the result,” he said.
