Cape Town – AfriForum has visited the White House to meet senior officials in the Trump Administration as part of a follow-up liaison visit to the United States, alongside Solidarity.
According to a statement, AfriForum board member Werner Human handed over the Malema dossier — published earlier this month — to these officials.
The dossier lays the groundwork for potential international repercussions, including targeted sanctions against EFF leader Julius Malema. It details Malema’s history of incitement to violence, alleged involvement in corruption, and support for terrorist organisations.
“Bringing Malema’s extremism to the attention of the Trump administration is one part of a larger international campaign to ensure Malema faces consequences for his incitement of violence and other transgressions that he is currently getting away with in South Africa.
“Alongside this campaign, AfriForum also continues to inform influential international contacts about the threat of expropriation without compensation in South Africa, as well as the scourge of farm attacks and murders.

Earlier this year, the United Kingdom denied Malema’s visa application due to his extremist rhetoric, including his refusal to rule out calls for violence against white people.
AfriForum welcomed a recent U.S. State Department report that highlighted farm murders and drew attention to the ‘Kill the Boer’ chant. The report further noted that, in recent years, the EFF has encouraged attacks on Afrikaner farmers by reviving the use of the ‘Kill the Boer’ song at rallies and otherwise inciting violence.
Ernst van Zyl, Head of Public Relations at AfriForum, stated that the organisation will persist in its efforts to hold Julius Malema accountable under South African law and to expose his actions on the international stage.
“The Trump administration has already demonstrated that it finds Julius Malema’s hateful, dangerous rhetoric and violent chants such as ‘Kill the Boer’ very concerning.
“One of its demands to the South African government, in order to normalise relations, has been to condemn the ‘Kill the Boer’ chant, which the South African government has unfortunately refused to do up until this point.
“AfriForum will ensure that such pressure grows,” concluded Van Zyl.
However, according to IOL, members of the EFF expressed their outrage on X, claiming that AfriForum wants their leader assassinated.
“They want him assassinated,” said EFF member Naledi Chirwa.
“Evil will never allow their oppressed victims to be freed economically, mentally and generally. So, they are angry at the mission accomplished already and his multiplication,” added EFF member Babalwa Mathulelwa.
