Cape Town – South African activist Pieter Kriel has publicly distanced himself from AfriForum CEO Kallie Kriel, clarifying that they are neither related nor ideologically aligned.
In a social media post, Pieter described himself as the opposite of Kallie, advocating for transformation, unity, and the end of apartheid legacies.
I’m not related to Kallie Kriel, I’m his antithesis. I don’t fight for preservation—I fight for transformation. I don’t romanticize apartheid, I want to bury it. I stand for unity, not segregation. Stop lumping me with fossils.

Kriel dismissed the idea of a “white genocide” in South Africa as a fear-mongering myth, arguing that the real problem is the resistance to equality.
“There is no white genocide in South Africa. But if you cry ‘genocide’ where it doesn’t exist, and stay silent while GAZA BURNS, you’re not a victim, you’re just a coward with WiFi.”
