Limpopo – Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba has been elected unopposed as the first female provincial chairperson of the African National Congress in Limpopo, replacing Stanley Mathabatha.

The unity agreement followed intervention from regional leaders to avoid internal divisions.
Ramathuba now faces the task of unifying the party and preparing it for the 2026 local government elections.
