Johannesburg – Thirty-three year-old Alton Ncube is expected to be surrendered to Interpol South Africa by Zimbabwean authorities next week.
Ncube is wanted by the South African Police Service in connection with the murder of his wife in February 2025 in Soweto.
Police said the murder was captured on video by the suspect and “shared it widely with friends and close family members” before he fled to Zimbabwe shortly after the incident.

Authorities confirmed that Ncube will be handed over at the Beitbridge Border Post on 4 March.
The SAPS said cross-border cooperation remains critical in combating transnational crime, particularly drug trafficking and violent offences linked to organised networks.
