Pretoria – Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, the KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, is scheduled to resume his testimony before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry when its public hearings continue in Pretoria on Thursday morning.
Mkhwanazi told the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry on Wednesday that the secondment of 10 members from the province’s political killings task team to Gauteng has produced major results.
Their work led to the arrests of Katiso Molefe, linked to the murder of DJ Sumbody (Oupa Sefoka), and Vusimusi “Cat” Matlala, who faces attempted murder, conspiracy and money-laundering charges.
