Cape Town – Tiffany Nicole Meek, accused of murdering her 11-year-old son Jayden-Lee Meek in May, will find out on Tuesday whether she will be granted bail.
The Roodepoort Magistrates Court is expected to deliver its judgement in the morning.
The State strongly opposes bail, arguing that Jayden was last seen at Meek’s apartment and had no reason to visit other units in the complex.
However, Meek’s lawyer, Novel Naidoo, claims the State’s case is weak and lacks eyewitness evidence placing Jayden with Meek after he was dropped off on 13 May 2025.
