Pretoria – The family of 22-year-old Nigerian student Isaac David Satlat is appealing for financial help to repatriate his body to Nigeria after he was murdered in Pretoria, South Africa.
Satlat, an e-hailing driver and mobile engineering student set to graduate next month, was strangled after picking up two passengers in Pretoria West.
His hijacked vehicle and body were found the same day in Atteridgeville.
His uncle Otila Onoja described the tragedy as devastating and called for better safety for gig workers.
“We need funds to take him back home so that he can be laid to rest in his hometown where he’s from,” Onoja said.
