Cape Town – A man was removed from a local South African flight after allegedly becoming disruptive over not receiving the correct change for a bottle of water.
A video shared on TikTok by @kundaimurapa shows him being restrained with cable ties by passengers, including two with security backgrounds.
The situation escalated as the man shouted and insisted he needed to be in Durban, despite being on a Cape Town flight.

“Fortunately, we had two passengers who had a background in security services and they subdued this dude. The the captain of the flight decided to divert to Bloemfontein and get this guy removed from the flight, which is what we ended up doing,” @kundaimurapa said.
