Cape Town – Constable Boipelo Senoge, one of three police officers whose bodies were recovered from the Hennops River in Centurion after a suspected car crash, will be laid to rest on Thursday.
Senoge, who would have turned 25 last Sunday, went missing with colleagues Keamogetswe Buys and Cebekhulu Linda on April 23 and was found six days later.
The service is scheduled to start at 08:00 and end at 11:00, followed by Senoge’s burial at South Park Cemetery.

Her unit commander, Constable Mandile Mkhetho, described her as a joyful and purposeful individual who brought happiness to her team.
He expressed heartbreak over her death, especially since he had planned a celebration for her birthday.
“She was very happy, more than happy, but you don’t know why and there is one thing that she said to me. She said, ‘Ntate Mkhetho, don’t forget it’s my birthday next month’. That happened to be the 5th of May and it broke my heart because I was prepared actually to do something for her,” he said.
Senoge’s funeral will take place at St Peter Anglican Church in Rocklands, Bloemfontein.
