Cape Town – A video that has gone viral on social media shows a man stealing gold bracelets at Broadway Square Mall in Strand, Cape Town.
The footage, shared by Yusuf Abramjee on Twitter on 5 January 2026, has already been viewed over 275,000 times.
In the clip, the suspect can be seen taking multiple gold bracelets from a display before fleeing the scene.

Mall management has not yet released a statement regarding the incident.
