Durban – Roosevelt High School in Johannesburg is grieving after a tragic car accident on 14 September involving three former pupils — sisters Storm, Connor and Cassidy Moodley.
According to Northcliff Melville Times, Connor (Class of 2018) and Cassidy (Class of 2020) died in the crash over, while their elder sister Storm (Class of 2017) remains in hospital with her condition unclear.
During assembly on Monday, the school observed a moment of silence.

Principal Cristel Venter described the sisters as inseparable, kind and hardworking, recalling vivid memories of their time at school and how they brought joy to staff and classmates.
“All the staff remember the Moodley family. It was three daughters and a mum, and they were always one. You saw them as a unit. It wasn’t four separate people — it was one person. The closest family that I’ve seen in a long time,” the report quoted Venter as saying.

She said the tragedy feels deeply unfair because the Moodley sisters made a lasting, positive impact on everyone around them.
