Cape Town – Police have arrested six teenagers following an attack on tourists from Wales whose vehicle was stoned on the N2 highway while they were travelling to Cape Town International Airport.
According to Western Cape police, the incident occurred while the tourists were en route to the airport, SABC News said.
No serious injuries were reported.

Police spokesperson FC Van Wyk said the attack was captured on CCTV footage, which assisted officers in identifying the suspects.
“The footage assisted police in identifying six boys who were responsible for the stoning,” The South African quoted Van Wyk said.
The teenagers were arrested on Thursday in the Crossroads residential area and were found wearing the same clothing they had on at the time of the incident.
They are expected to appear in court once formally charged.
Police have not yet disclosed the ages of the suspects or the specific charges they will face, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
