Cape Town – A woman from Umkomaas has claimed the R10 million Lotto Plus jackpot from the August 16, 2025, draw after playing with a R20 quick-pick ticket.
Having played the lottery since turning 18, she said the win marks a fresh start for her family, whom she has supported since being orphaned at a young age.

She plans to invest in her children’s education and assist her siblings with their studies.
