Cape Town – Alleged underworld figure Andre Naude was buried in Durbanville on Monday, two weeks after being murdered in Parow.
According to reports, Naudé was declared dead at the scene after being gunned down by occupants of a vehicle that pulled up next to him while he was with friends.
A 61-year-old man was also wounded in the attack and taken to hospital, while two other men escaped injury.

His death followed the killing of fellow accused Mark Lifman seven months earlier.
Both men were on trial with Jerome “Donkie” Booysen and others for the 2017 murder of Brian Wainstein, known as the “steroid king.”
According to EWN, Naude’s funeral was attended by alleged underworld figures, including Booysen and Igor Russol.

His son, Juandre, delivered a heartfelt eulogy.
“All I’m going to say is that my dad was the greatest man I ever knew. I appreciate the support of everybody. My dad was a great man,” the report quoted Juandre as saying.
No arrests have been made in connection with Naude’s murder.
