Parktown — Eight suspects have been apprehended following a business robbery at Sunderland Ridge, Centurion, on 28 October 2025, the South African Police Service (SAPS) confirmed.
According to Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, the suspects targeted a local store, reportedly holding staff at gunpoint before loading stolen goods into a truck.
They fled the scene escorted by a Kia vehicle.

“The security was alerted, and they traced the truck and the vehicle at R55 road near Raslouw in Wiedabrug policing precinct. Shots were fired between security personnel and the suspects. In the process, one suspect and a security guard sustained gunshot injuries,” Nevhuhulwi said.
Police were called to the scene, and all eight suspects, including the injured individual, were arrested.
Authorities also seized two firearms, the truck used in the heist, and the Kia vehicle as part of ongoing investigations.
