Limpopo – Five people have died in a head-on collision on the N1 near Modimolle in Limpopo after a vehicle attempted a U-turn on the highway on Wednesday.
Authorities said both drivers were killed in the crash, while five passengers were injured and taken to hospital, according to EWN.
The incident led to the temporary closure of parts of the busy route.

The crash comes as traffic volumes in Limpopo increase during the Easter period.
This peak travel season is often associated with a rise in road accidents as motorists travel to various destinations, SABC News reported.
