This follows national police commissioner General Fannie Masemola’s recent statement that a “known suspect” had been identified and a breakthrough was expected.
DJ Warras was shot outside the Zambezi Building in Johannesburg, in what police believe was a targeted attack.
CCTV footage showing a suspect with dreadlocks remains a key piece of evidence.
