Police spokesperson Captain Frederick C van Wyk confirmed that the operation was carried out by members of the Provincial Operational Command Centre as part of ongoing efforts to clamp down on drug-related and other organised crimes.
Acting on intelligence regarding suspected drug activities, officers descended on a house located in Holly Crescent, Table View.
During the search, they uncovered the substantial sum of money, along with a bag containing multiple bank cards linked to various individuals.
