Cape Town – A 54-year-old bank executive who had been reported missing in Edenvale was rescued on Thursday following a multi-location tactical operation.
Police arrested five suspects linked to his kidnapping and the abduction of two other victims.
The executive’s bloodstained car was found in Ivory Park.

One suspect was caught at OR Tambo International Airport with the victim’s phone and a large sum of money transferred from the victim’s account.
“One suspect was caught at OR Tambo International Airport trying to flee with the victim’s phone and a large sum of funds transferred from his account.
“A raid in Thembisa led to three more arrests and recovery of stolen vehicles,” Security company Vision Tactical said.

Further raids in Thembisa and another area led to the arrest of four more suspects and the recovery of stolen vehicles.
Two additional hostages, including a hijacking victim, were also freed.
All victims received medical attention, and forensic teams investigated the scenes
