Durban – Seven men accused of the 2023 murders of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and businessman Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane have been transferred from Westville prison to the high-security eBongweni prison in Kokstad, KwaZulu-Natal.
Sources said the transfer took place early this year at the request of the state, although authorities have not given an official reason, EWN reported.
The accused were arrested about a year after the February 2023 killings.
UPDATE: The Ndimande brothers, Siyabonga and Malusi, who are accused of having a role in the murder of AKA and Tibz, have asked to be moved from Kokstad maximum prison to Westville in Durban so that they can easily consult with their lawyers.
