Cape Town – South African amapiano star Lady Du has launched her own wine brand, Sip of Piano, adding another milestone to her growing portfolio of business ventures.
The singer, whose real name is Duduzile Ngwenya, shared her excitement on Instagram, highlighting the personal and financial journey behind her new brand.
“Don’t ever let your ideas live in your head, you won’t see how far you can push yourself,” Lady Du wrote. “Both my book and wine are self funded!!! At some point I got to zero, even got robbed of my savings but because I’m consistent in prayer, God has never ever left my side.”
While she does not drink alcohol herself, Lady Du said she wanted to create a product that reflects her creativity and vision. “I want to push the boundaries!!!! I’m not just a musician, I’m an entrepreneur using music to make my dreams come true,” she added, thanking fans for their support and streams.

According to TimesLIVE, the wine brand represents Lady Du’s latest step in diversifying her career and building long-term financial independence. She previously opened Wawa La Beauty salon and published her first book, Fame or Business, highlighting her approach to turning fame into sustainable business ventures.
Lady Du also revealed that she plans to release music this year, but her focus has been on securing her financial independence. “The focus was on securing myself so I never have to rely just on my voice,” she wrote, signaling her commitment to both artistry and entrepreneurship.
