Cape Town – One of the entertainment industry’s most admired couples, Hungani and Stephanie Ndlovu, confirmed their divorce this week.
The two, who were married in an intimate garden ceremony on 23 February 2019, shared the news in a heartfelt joint statement on Instagram on 22 June 2025, marking the end of their six-year marriage.
In their statement, Hungani and Stephanie acknowledged the timing of the announcement, noting it was accelerated by media reports.
“After much thought, reflection and conversations, we have mutually decided to part ways and end our marriage. While we had hoped to share this news at a time that felt right for us, the unfortunate early release by the media has prompted us to speak sooner than we had planned.”

Their message emphasised mutual respect and a shared commitment to their daughter, Rhulani, who celebrated her third birthday in June.
“Though our marriage is ending, our friendship is not. We are committed to showing up as a united team for our beautiful daughter, raising her with the same care, intention and joy she has always known.”
In a previous interview with Briefly News, Hungani acknowledged that their relationship had endured significant emotional weight, including the trauma of a miscarriage in 2020.
