Cape Town – Johannesburg commuters who rely on Uber are urged to seek other transport options ahead of a planned driver shutdown on Tuesday.
The protest will begin in Kramerville, with drivers marching to Uber’s Parktown headquarters.

The action is driven by dissatisfaction over reduced earnings due to changes in commission rates and unprofitable fare structures, SABC News reported.
One of the driver representatives said the strike will continue until Uber addresses their core demand: fairer pricing.

@boltapp South African drivers are very unhappy about the category changes, some who were on the night shift went on hours without getting trips, I hope this can be reviewed it does not benefit the drivers and you so put it on email, they are struggling!
