Cape Town – One South African has won a staggering R124,602,697.30 in the latest PowerBall draw (Draw 1639), after successfully matching five numbers and the PowerBall on Tuesday, 5 August 2025.
The winning numbers were: 10, 32, 34, 40, 48 and PowerBall: 14.
While ITHUBA, the National Lottery operator, has confirmed the win, the jackpot remains unclaimed, and the winner’s identity is still unknown.
Players are urged to check their tickets, as their millions could be waiting.

The PowerBall Plus draw, with numbers 01, 02, 07, 43, 45 and PowerBall: 02, had no jackpot winner, leaving that prize to roll over to an estimated R36 million for the next draw on Friday, 8 August.
The main PowerBall jackpot will reset to around R5 million.
