Kimberley – Five mineworkers are reportedly missing after a mudslide struck Tunnel 6 at the Ekapa Mining Joint Shaft, about 890 metres underground.
Emergency teams have been deployed and underground operations are continuing, according to IOL.
SABC News reported that the company has indicated the families of the missing workers have been informed, and that the Department of Mineral Resources is aware of the incident.
