Cape Town – South African singer Kelly Khumalo delivered a powerful live performance in Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal, over the weekend—accompanied on stage by a heavily armed bodyguard.
The heightened security drew attention amid renewed controversy linking her to the death of soccer star Senzo Meyiwa.

The move followed a fiery Instagram response from Khumalo to recent claims by former advocate Malesela Teffo, who alleged in a podcast that Meyiwa’s death was an accidental shooting involving the singer.
In her post, Kelly lashed out at her critics, issuing a bold challenge and making it clear she’s had enough:

Khumalo, who has previously cited threats to her life, said her personal security is essential.
