Cape Town – Johannesburg is preparing for one of the biggest concerts in recent history as Travis Scott brings his Circus Maximus World Tour to FNB Stadium on Saturday, 11 October 2025.
As reported by the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) via X/Twitter, road closures will begin at 11:00 am on concert day. Key routes affected include Soweto Highway, Golden Highway, Nasrec Road, and Booysens Reserve Road.
The JMPD urged motorists to plan ahead and use alternative routes or public transport options such as park-and-ride services and the Gautrain to avoid congestion.

According to Big Concerts, standing tickets require attendees to be over 18 and at least 1.6 meters tall. Minors aged three and above must have tickets and ear protection, while those under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Tickets are available digitally via Ticketmaster and Big Concerts.
Fans can expect a high-energy spectacle.
As reported by The Citizen, Scott’s performance will feature immersive stage design, pyrotechnics, and hits from his latest album Utopia alongside fan favorites.
Organisers have emphasised adherence to safety protocols, with security checks and crowd management measures in place to ensure the concert runs smoothly.
