Cape Town – Hailed as the “King of Amapiano”, Kabza De Small has just made a major splash in the United States, headlining a sold‑out show at the Knockdown Centre in Queens, New York, this past weekend.
On June 21st in New York, Kabza De Small dazzled the crowd with an electrifying set during the ‘Descendants’ showcase — a celebrated event that was launched three years ago.
The event also featured talents Mango Maphio (Caiiro) and QUE DJ, who formed part of the line-up.

Before starting his set, Kabza shared his excitement with TimesLIVE, reflecting on the global rise of Amapiano:
“To be a witness to the way amapiano has catapulted into different regions of the world has been incredible.
“I love that the sound has been loved by people from all over.”
What followed was a showstopping set, as Kabza lit up the stage in New York — sparking non-stop dancing and high energy, as fans were fully immersed in his signature sound.
